Paying your credit card bill

When you log in to Creditcard Online or the ABN AMRO Creditcard app, you see a statement showing your balance, and any amount that is due. You can pay this amount in whichever way suits you best.

Pay your bill

You can pay the outstanding amount all at once, or in instalments if you have added the Instalment Facility* to your Card. Your statement will show the final date that payment is due.

  1. Pay the entire amount each month
If you pay the outstanding balance in full within 21 days, you will pay no interest.
  2. Pay in instalments
If you currently have the Instalment Facility and pay in monthly instalments, you will pay 10% interest on an annual basis.

* It is no longer possible to apply for the Instalment Facility. If you currently have an Instalment Facility added to your ABN AMRO Creditcard, you can still pay in instalments under the specified Terms and Conditions and interest rate.

How can I pay the outstanding amount?

There are four ways to pay your credit card bill. You can choose whichever you find most convenient.

  1. Pay in Creditcard Online
You can make a payment via Creditcard Online. If you’d like to pay an extra amount into your credit card account, see extra deposits and saving.
  2. Pay by internet banking
You can also pay via internet banking. This may be convenient if you don’t yet have a Creditcard Online account, or if we don’t yet have your bank account number. You can find ICS’s bank account number at ABN AMRO Creditcard Services. If you’d like to let us know your bank account number, go to changing your payment details.
  3. Pay with the ABN AMRO Creditcard app
In the overview in your app, you can see how much you’ve spent. You can pay directly in the app. If you don’t have an outstanding balance, see paying with the ABN AMRO Creditcard app.
  4. Pay by direct debit
If you’d like to be sure of paying on time, without needing to do anything, you can opt to pay by direct debit. Then we transfer the outstanding amount from your bank account. This happens monthly, five days after your new statement appears online.

How long does it take for a payment to appear in my account?

  • Creditcard Online: almost instantly
  • ABN AMRO Creditcard app: 1 to 11 working days
  • Direct debit: 5 working days on average
  • Internet banking: 2 working days on average
